Data Deletion Requests

Effective date: September 16, 2026 · Applies to “GhostLab: Paranormal Toolkit” on iOS and Android

GhostLab has no user accounts, so there is no account to close. Almost everything the app creates lives on your own device and never reaches us. This page explains how to remove what is on your device and how to ask us to delete the small amount of purchase-attribution information held by our affiliate partner.

Everything stored on your device

Your recordings, videos, session notes, tags, map pins, and settings are stored in the app’s own storage. You can remove them yourself at any time, and you do not need to ask us:

We hold no copies of any of it, so there is nothing on our side to delete.

Purchase attribution data

When someone buys GhostLab Pro, an app-scoped device identifier and the details of that purchase are sent to our affiliate partner, GoMarketMe, so that the creator who referred the sale is paid correctly. This is described in full under Affiliate attribution in our privacy policy. This is the only information about you that we can delete on request.

How to request deletion

Email: [email protected]

Subject line: GhostLab data deletion request

To help us find the right record, please include:

The order number is the only reliable way to match a request to a record, because we hold no name, email address, or payment details. Send your request from any email address you like. We only use the address you write from to reply to you, and we delete the correspondence once the request is closed.

What happens next

Deleting this record has no effect on your purchase. GhostLab Pro is tied to your Apple or Google account, so you keep it, and you can still restore it on a new device.

What we have to keep

Apple and Google hold the record of your actual transaction, and we cannot delete anything on their systems. To request deletion of data held by them, contact Apple or Google directly.

We also keep a financial record of each sale for as long as tax and accounting law requires, currently seven years. That record holds the amount, the date, and the affiliate who earned commission on it. It does not hold the device identifier, and it cannot be traced back to you once the attribution record is deleted.
