GhostLab: Tarot Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026 · Applies to the iOS app “GhostLab: Tarot”

GhostLab: Tarot is an on-device card lab for entertainment and reflection. It has no user accounts and no servers of our own. Your readings, journal entries, and settings are stored only on your device unless you choose to share them yourself.

Summary

Data the app uses on your device

GhostLab: Tarot asks iOS for permission to use the following, strictly to power the features described. This processing happens on your iPhone:

You can decline or revoke either permission in iOS Settings. The spoken-question feature will simply be unavailable and everything else keeps working.

Advertising

The free version of GhostLab: Tarot shows a banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen ad between sittings. Ads are served by Google AdMob. We configure every ad request as non-personalized, and the app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework or the advertising identifier to track you.

To serve and measure ads, Google receives standard request data from your device: IP address (which can imply an approximate, city-level location), device model and operating system details, and ad interaction data such as which ads were shown and tapped. Apple’s SKAdNetwork may report ad conversions to ad networks in aggregate, without identifying you. Google describes its handling of this data in the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchasing GhostLab Tarot Pro removes all advertising from the app.

Purchases

GhostLab Tarot Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We receive no payment details. You can restore the purchase on a new device from inside the app.

What we do not do

Children

The app carries the age rating shown on its App Store page and is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If our practices change, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
